Description:
How To Spot A Gamer is a first-person stealth game all about managing a series of microgames while traversing the stage. The player takes on the role of a child who is addicted to mobile gaming. After being tempted with microtransaction pop-ups, the kid decides to sneak around his house to “borrow“ his mother’s various credit cards. Can he pull off the heist under the pressure of his addiction and the watchful eye of his mother?
This project was developed in Unreal Engine 5 where I acted primarily as the AI programmer for the Mom character’s pathfinding and detection systems. I also aided in the creation of microgames to be added to the roster. This game also features FMV cutscenes filmed and directed by myself with scripts written collectively by our team.
